English name: Green Cascade Frog (aka: “Chloronate Huia Frog” or “Copper-cheeked Frog”)
Scientific name: Odorrana chloronota (formerly known as Rana chloronota and confused with Rana/Odorrana livida)
Thai name: Kob cha-ngon hin pak nua

note: The status of this species in northern Thailand is still uncertain. Formerly known as the Green Mountain Frog (Rana livida), the distribution of that frog has since been considered to be much more limited, and the true identify of the species found in Doi Suthep and other northern Thai mountains is still in question.
